About Me

Abby Yanow Abby Yanow assists teams, boards and organizations to realize their 
vision and achieve
greater impact.  Since 2000, Abby has consulted to state and federal  government, non-profit agencies, boards and coalitions - facilitating strategic planning, team building, board development, and leadership development.


Ms. Yanow has a Master's Degree in Cross-Cultural Communication, and is 
a certified mediator.  After training at the Harvard Mediation Program, she apprenticed in small claims courts in Chelsea and Malden.  Since 2003, Ms. Yanow has taught a yearly graduate workshop on "Organizational Change" at UMass Boston. 
Abby uses the Myers-Briggs and FIRO-B assessments to help clients understand their preferences in  decision-making and in group participation - in service of helping groups work more effectively together.

Since 2001 Abby has been privileged to serve as President of the Boston Facilitators Roundtable.  She designs programs and coaches presenters to create dynamic interactive workshops.  Since 2001 the membership has increased by over 80%, and the BFR has achieved distinction throughout New England as a high-quality organization offering excellent programs.
